Botanist Cabin at The Evergreens

  • In the Spring of 1948, a Botanist named Sam settled here with his wife. They had a dream to create a haven where they could learn and prosper while studying nature & living simply. They built this homestead cabin, nestled alongside a river-fed stream, under a hidden canopy of giant trees.

The cabin itself is an open & inviting studio, with windows all around. There is a full kitchen & comfortable bathroom, complete with a soaking tub & surrounded by the sweet sounds of flowing water.

The property sits on 6 acres. The entrance to your cabin is just past a larger cabin and across a wooden bridge on the other side of the creek. The cabin is private, with it's own yard, creek, and meditation areas. This land is unlike any other in Three Rivers. We enjoy a microclimate due to being tucked away under the foothills and shaded by a canopy of lush plant life.

We are on ancient land here, for thousands of years the Native Yokuts and early migrants settled due to the abundant valley and mountain resources, and the close proximity to the Kaweah River.

This experience is for those who seek something truly unique and crave a deep connection with nature while appreciating a rustic and relaxed atmosphere.
