  • We are located in the magical village of Three Rivers, California - half way between Los Angeles and San Francisco. This is where the Sierra Nevada Foothills form at the edge of the San Joaquin Valley.

    We are directly bordered by two national parks, Sequoia and Kings Canyon - both offering endless exploration and natural beauty.

    Three Rivers is the perfect destination for experiencing a slower pace of life, while being surrounded by flowing rivers and scenic mountains.

  • To reach Sequoia National Park (Ash Mountain Entrance), the drive time is about 10 minutes. From there, it is 45 minutes to reach The Giant Forest.

    To reach Grant Grove Village in Kings Canyon National Park, it is approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes.

    If you’re planning to visit Yosemite, the entrance is 2.5 hours away from Three Rivers.

  • No, we don’t allow any pets of any kind. Please note that this non-negotiable policy is in place to protect the many species of native wildlife living onsite. We have strict staff allergy requirements as well. By booking a stay at Sequoia Stays, you agree to abide by this policy.

  • Yes! Each house and cabin has clean drinking water that is reverse osmosis filtered and ready for use. The clean water dispenser is the small faucet by the sink.

  • Wildlife passes through, and you may encounter anything from quail, wild turkey, deer, lizards, snakes, squirrels, other woodland critters, even Black Bear. Please keep in mind that we do not refund money because of these nature items. This is what makes the Sierra Nevada Foothills so special.

  • Check-in time is 4pm.

    Check-out time is 11:00am.

  • Coffee and tea will be provided for your convenience. We stock a basic pantry, which includes: Coffee, Herbal Artisan Teas, Salt, Pepper, Spices, & Olive Oil. If you have a question about which spices are provided, please just ask:).

    Pop into the market for your ice and milk if you take it!

    We have a 12 cup drip coffee maker and a french press available for you, to get your day started off right!

  • It is essential for our guests to have travel insurance. We don't issue refunds outside of our policy — and recommend you are covered by insurance, just in case your travel arrangements are disrupted due to weather, park closures, etc.

  • All reservations are subject to a 10% cancellation fee, regardless of when the reservation is cancelled. This fee covers the cost incurred to process and cancel payment. Travelers who cancel at least 30 days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount they've paid. If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they'll get back 50%. Otherwise, they won't get a refund.

  • Fresno Yosemite airport is the closest and is 1 hour and 10 minutes away.

  • The town's name comes from its location, near the junction of the North, Middle, and South Forks of the Kaweah River.

    The river begins above 11,500 feet in the Sierra Nevada mountains, and has two additional forks. Together with the Middle, North, and South Forks, they create the dramatically beautiful Kaweah Canyon.

    The word "Kaweah" has a Native American origin, deriving from the Yokut Tribe’s word "Gaweah,” meaning crow (or raven) cry.

    This land holds spiritual significance to peoples and communities of past and present.
